I am happy to assist with therapeutic support of musculoskeletal or systemic changes of individual body systems affecting your health. A comprehensive consultation establishing your health status followed by an examination forms the basis of treatment. As a general rule, this takes about an hour but may exceed this timeframe or involve less time when treating children.
To conclude the consultation, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
The treatment is based on osteopathic principles and represents a holistic continuum of examination and treatment which was developed in the US in the 19th century by the American physician Dr Andrew Taylor Still and has continued to be expanded and improved over the years. Treatment Scope of Osteopathic Treatment Techniques
Acute infections such as bacterial organ inflammation must be treated in accordance with the tenets of traditional medicine. Similarly, fractures, tumours, mental illness, diabetes and other serious illnesses are positively the domain of the specialist. Likewise, medication use may only be supervised by the treating physician.
Osteopathic Treatment techniques are no substitute for a doctor.
